Irene Peukes born in Krefeld (germany) studied in Hamburg and Barcelona. Lives and works actualy in Sineu, Mallorca. Graduated in Textile and Fashion Design from the University of Applied Sciences

Received a grant from the German DAAD foundation (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) to study Textile and Photography at the Massana School (Barcelona), Spain

Since 1995 works as a designer for the companies like Artextil and Camper. Design consultancy and workshop with artisans of Guatemala , Bangladesh, Ecuador, Rusia y Nicaragua
